When I say it was cold I cannot state that enough. It was absolutely freezing, NYC has this habit of boiling you in the summer months, being delightful in Autumn, cold in Winter, warm in false spring and freezing again in second winter before true spring which is delightful but that swiftly gives way to blazing hot temperatures and desperately trying to find a way out of the city in August before you are certain you will actually melt into nothing. All that to say this day was cold. I was pregnant so overheating like crazy and didn't bring anywhere near enough clothes or layers with me. But still we got what we set out to get and that means I really can't complain can I?
