Rarest Rainbow worked alongside the Smithee Group to create a mood and direction for their new marketing campaign, they then came to me with the vision, it was up to me to make it happen. We were aiming for clean fun images that showed off the jewellery but incorporated coloured backgrounds. Simple but effective. We initially shot in front of a plain white wall in my home studio, and lets be honest, living in New York at the time it was absolutely my bedroom converted into a studio space. We kept the day very relaxed as we had a shot list and a set number of items for both models. It is always worth sitting down with your photographer or email etc and creating a shot list, mood board and ensuring you have a plan in place for the items you are photographing or content you need to capture.
